Howard saw this discarded and broken vintage brass besson key of a 'Bb Pocket Cornet' and knew instantly that the tightly coiled brass tubing and compact shape would make a perfect bespoke feature table light, with the warm amber glow of an LED bulb floating above the main body of the cornet on the extended lead pipe, with the light fitting mounted in the mouth piece. The cornet is fitted to a simple dark ebonised Oak base via a spigot. This up-cycled table light gives new life and functionality to a dented, tarnished & amp; discarded brass musical instrument.
