Event Description
Not Gardeners’ Question Time
Monday 31 August | 2.00–3.00pm, Lindengate
Come along for a lively, informal and entertaining afternoon of gardening chat, expert advice and your questions!
We’ll begin at 2.00pm with a special talk from Katie Duffield, Head Gardener at Chequers, who will share her experience and insights from caring for one of the country’s most celebrated gardens.
Then, at 2.30pm, it’s time for “Not Gardeners’ Question Time” — our very own Lindengate take on the much-loved gardening Q&A!
Meet the panel
Katie Duffield – Head Gardener at Chequers
Jackie – Deputy Gardener at Chequers
Katie Horgan – Conservationist and Hort, Conservation & Site Lead at Lindengate, who also works with Future Nature/BBOWT
Clare Esson – Designer and trained horticulturalist, with a distinguished career in horticulture
Andy Grant – RHS-trained, former designer and project manager on Love Your Garden, CEO of Lindengate and one of the people who helped create the Lindengate gardens — although she insists she’s not an expert!
Chair: Jacqui Greenham – experienced gardener and Senior Fundraising, Partnership & Programme Manager at Lindengate.
Have a gardening question?
This is your chance to ask our panel anything from tricky planting problems and garden design to wildlife, conservation and making the most of your own garden.
Questions can be submitted when you book online, and there will also be an opportunity to write your question on a slip when you arrive at the venue.
Jacqui will select questions from the audience and put them to the most appropriate member of the panel — so you never know quite where the conversation might take us!
The Q&A event is FREE, but advance booking is essential and places are limited.
Come prepared with your gardening dilemmas, your tricky questions and perhaps a few that you’ve always wanted to ask but were too afraid to!
