Art, Wine and Creativity: A Wonderful Weekend at Manor Farm, Bradenham Art Fair

What do you get when you combine fine art, fine wine, beautiful surroundings and a healthy dose of creativity? The answer was on full display over the first May Bank Holiday weekend at Bradenham Art Fair.

Set within the stunning surroundings of Manor Farm, Bradenham, in the heart of the Chiltern Hills, the four-day event, curated by The Art Exhibitionists, brought together artists, makers, musicians and visitors for a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and community from 1–4 May.

Visitors were able to explore an inspiring collection of affordable contemporary art, sculpture and craft, thoughtfully displayed throughout the historic Tithe Barn, courtyard and gardens. Whether looking for the perfect piece to take home or simply seeking inspiration, there was something to capture every imagination.

For those keen to develop their own artistic skills, a programme of masterclasses ran throughout the weekend. Led by experienced artists and tutors, workshops covered a wide range of disciplines including illustration, watercolour painting and oils, providing opportunities for both beginners and more experienced creatives to learn new techniques and build confidence.

No celebration would be complete without refreshments, and visitors were well catered for throughout the event. Local specialists Lloyds Wines provided a carefully selected range of wines, while pies, toasties, cakes and hot drinks ensured nobody went hungry while exploring the exhibition or attending workshops.

Importantly, the event also supported a worthwhile local cause. One third of all proceeds from ticket sales were donated to Lindengate, the Buckinghamshire-based charity that uses gardening, nature and outdoor activities to support mental health and wellbeing.

Bradenham Art Fair was more than an exhibition; it was a vibrant celebration of creativity, learning and community spirit. We would like to thank all the artists, tutors, volunteers, sponsors and visitors who helped make the event such a success. We are already looking forward to the next one.
